New things in my life {USA}

{THIS is the USA links page}

With so much change ahead it is time to streamline as well as refresh my belongings so that they will serve me on this very varied road into the future! (Brexit, Travel, living in America, going to photograph and teach English in Asia and getting ready to eventually move to Sweden… yes, that’s all a LONG story!)

Icebreaker Merino Women’s Cool-Lite Spheria Short Sleeve Scoop T-Shirt

Since I was a child I always picked up the penny and saved it until I had enough pennies for a gummy or lollipop or ice cream. Savour the small blessings. x

So it is time that I get new clothes, so much in my suitcase is many years old and I need some versatile but smart new clothes. New hard drives to save my work are needed. Some language teaching materials, camera related gear, books and more. Here are the things that I am looking at and am most probably going to own in the next weeks, if you have any questions let me know. I will be able to give a review once I receive for example the T-shirt in the post.

MONEY & TRAVEL & EXPAT LIFE! More useful than anything for somebody living abroad and earning income or needing to pay bills in more than one currency has been Transferwise! I can’t recommend them enough.

Travel & Packing: Packing goodies! I LOVE these packing cubes. I was definitely skeptical before purchase but my suitcase is super easy to organise and for somebody who is away from home longterm and has quite different clothes for different seasons and occasions in her suitcase these packing cubes have been amazing! Lifechanging??? YES!

Earplugs made from wax! My partner swears by them! They keep him (a very light sleeper) sound asleep while I rattle around the room.. He reuses his earplugs for a week at a time, but I think this depends on how squeaky clean you feel your ears are. I certify his ears as ultra clean so it’s ok!

And then also these hard drive shell cases that help protect my data as I rattle around the world.. The same company as the one making the above packing cubes also makes padded cases which also really help protect hard drives when travelling. I use both of the cases below. The 3 set as well as a few hardshell cases like the one on the left.

Books I have LOVED links:

3 –  A Portrait in Sepia (I couldn’t find a link yet) But this is an amazing book that you absolutely should seek out!

The above are affiliate links
, this means that at no additional cost to you I will get a small percentage if you follow any link and then purchase something. This helps me out. I value the 50 cents here and there, they become coffees; and coffees in cafes always turn into photographs, sometimes into cafe reviews. The photos I can submit for stock photography and with some luck make another 50 cents .. I know it sounds ridiculous but these extra cents add up and if by the end of the year they become $50 or $100 or maybe a little modest single paycheque covering a week of living  then that is a welcome boost to my budget and it is free money for me, created by you enjoying a recommendation I made, and it doesn’t cost you a cent!
