Everything Below is in need of some time invested to make it pretty!
Affiliate Links! What are they!? They are good for us both and do not cost you more but earn me a few pennies! I will try and use this page mainly to link to my favourite things in the world!
It’s mid-August, I DID get that camera and then the lens didn’t work! So, we are sending it back to Nikon and in the meantime I will buy this 85mm lens to bridge the time without the broken lens. Here’s a link for the new 85mm lens I will be trying out! Whoop! Nikon AF FX NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8G Fixed Lens with Auto Focus for Nikon DSLR Cameras
This is for the US store where I’ll probably get the lens from. If you would like a link for the UK here it is: Nikon AF-S NIKKOR f/1.8G ED Lens – 85 mm
• My next camera upgrade will be this – In fact we are buying it THIS week!: Nikon D750 24-85 / 3.5-4.5 AF-S G ED VR ( 24.93 MP,3.2 -inch LCD ) I am not 100 sure yet when I can upgrade but until I do I am going to be in a bit of a professional career waiting loop.. The sooner I can make the leap the better. It is ok that my dream camera is a Canon at the moment and that I am sticking with Nikon. Nikon has seen me through a lot of learning! I did a lot of research and the Nikon D750 24-85 / 3.5-4.5 AF-S G ED VR ( 24.93 MP,3.2 -inch LCD )” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener noreferrer”>Nikon D750 will let me work at higher end than my current kit will allow me to. I think I will be happy!
I will need to update my memory cards, get a couple with faster writing speed than I have now and it would be great to get a 125 GB one but the price is eye watering so I will most likely settle for this one for filming SanDisk Extreme PRO 64 GB up to 300MB/s UHS-II Class 10 U3 SDXC Memory Card and this one when taking photos and not needing as much speed (this is so much cheaper!): SanDisk Extreme PRO 64 GB SDXC UHS-I Memory Card – Standard Packaging and then I will still need one more card to make use of the dual card slot facility on the Nikon D750, the compact flash cards.. Gosh photography is an expensive business! Crazy! SanDisk Extreme Pro 64 GB 160 MB/s CompactFlash Memory Card – Black/Gold/Red
• My current dream camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR Camera (Body Only) But not the camera that I will own any time soon.

My favourite book that I read last year: Portrait in Sepia written by Isabelle Allende. It completely hooked me, maybe in part because it features San Francisco and the story of immigrants!
One of my favourite books of all time: The Glass Palace by Amitav Gosh
Explaining these links a little more: Some of these links will help me earn a little trickle income if you follow them and out of genuine interest make a purchase. I will not offer affiliate links to something that I personally have no interest in or that I find questionable. So when I tell you that I would love to be able to afford the newest Canon Camera to which these words will form a link to take you to Amazon (UK) Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR Camera (Body Only) then this really is a camera that I would LOVE to afford. If you can afford it and happen to wish to buy it, too: then if you use this link to land on the Amazon page and then purchase your dream camera while there then I get a mini percentage as a sort of advertiser fee (Amazon assumes that you might have not made a purchase without my link, this is why I receive a reward for sending you to their page) while it doesn’t cost you even a penny more.

Data Storage is slowly taking over my life.. So I can never have enough of these hard drives. I tend to get the 2 TB ones rather than 3 or 4, I am not sure that I have a good enough reason for this.. Ultimately it means double the hard drives laying around. (UK LINK).
